Darlington- Joseph H. Webster, age 73, of Darlington, died on Sunday, Oct. 15, 1989, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born in Elk Grove Township, Wisconsin on August 13, 1916, the son of Jess and Ellen (Boyle) Webster.
He was married to the former Lena Bussman on Jan. 27, 1940. He later worked as a patrolman for the Lafayette County Highway Department for 20 years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington.
He is survived by: his wife, Lena; three sons, Robert (Rose) of Monroe, James of Mauston, and Thomas (Linda) of Wauwatosa; a daughter, Ruth (Mark) Pivar of Glendale; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters, Delva Conrad, Ruth Webster, and Helen McKenna; seven brothers, Hubert, Irvin, Melburn, Edmund, John B., Daniel and Austin Webster; and a grandson, Joseph Warner.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
